20 gram
Go Bi
50 gram
Scallion
10 gram
Korean radish
10 gram
Garlic

Beef
Add egg to a bowl.
Mix well.
Put it aside for now.
Add 450mL (per serving) of water to a pot.
Add minced garlic, sauce, gobi & sprout, radish & scallion. Bring to boil on high heat.
Boil additional 4~7 minutes on medium-high heat.
Add sliced brisket to the pot.
Boil on medium-high heat for 2~4 minutes.
Add egg from step 1 to the pot and stir.
Boil for 30 seconds on high heat.

All the ingredients come prepped and this soup comes together in minutes. The flavor was great for such a short cook time. It’s a good spice level for most people but may seem not spicy enough compared to Korean restaurants. You can easily add some more red pepper flakes to kick up the heat if you want. It’s a good portion size especially when paired with rice and could be split into two servings.

This is the simplified spicy beef soup. I usually modified the soup base to add more richness to the flavor. What I do like about doofood is that all ingredients are clean and fresh and easy to cook. Thanks!
